I had a baking day a little while ago when we were expecting family over but never got around to sharing the photos with you. It was one of those days that even though it is hot outside, you don't mind having the oven on inside the house! The blueberry muffins were everyone's favourite but gradually the nagle layer cake and the chocolate muffins vanished too ;)

Even though the calendar says no, summer is definitely gone from this part of the country. There are a few dry leaves on the pavements and the trees are starting to that lovely yellow/brown colour again which means my favourite season (autumn) is finally here :)

I may not be able to blog for a few weeks as hubby & I are going away this week but will try to as soon as I get back. We are going to Munich so hopefully I'll have lots of nice photos to share with you when I get back.

Hope you are all safe & sound if Irene went past your way & hope you all have a great week.

Also had put a bowl of mixed nuts, marzipan fruit, indian nuts and a tray of baklava to go with the drinks.

South Coast & 1 year on the blog

Hubby & I had a trip for a long weekend to the south coast of England a little while ago to visit my lovely in-laws.  There was a music festival on & I thought I'll share a few photos with you.  This was the town of Bognor Regis which is a very short drive away from Brighton. There were 5 different music stages along the coast, each with a different type of music on. Lots of food & drinks stands & stalls for shopping as well as fun fair rides.  It was a really lovely day.

Also it has been over a year sine I posted my very first blog post last year so wanted to say thanks to those of you who follow me :) You have all made it very special & I'm really glad to have made so many wonderful friends across the globe. If you'd like to read my very first Christmas Believe post then please click  Here.
One of my sweet followers is Menezes Rejane from Brazil & I thought I'll share one of her recent posts with you, I found the photos absolutely inspiring and the music on her blog is as soft as snow. If you wish to look at her blog then please click HERE. This particular post was very inspiring.

Hope you all are having a nice week & getting your Christmas plans together.  Most of my big "tidy up" before Christmas is done :) Major things that are now to do are painting and carpets!

twig wreath

I ordered a small twig online the other day to use it as an autumn wreath but before I get started I got a couple of Christmas things out to try out a few new ideas.  The wreath actually turned out to be smaller than I had hoped so I just tried a few different tinsels around it & used some snowmen that I have.  It was fun and I thought to share the photos with you all.  Hope you all are having a great week. If you have any other suggestions for me on how to use on the twig wreath, please let me know. I could use a few inspiring ideas :)
